Whether big or small businesses in the Philippines, investing the country in your business of choice is a good chance to have a successful business venture in Asia. Why? Now, Philippines is the tiger economy of Asia, as of 2012 and 2013 survey.
So, what do I mean about business in the Philippines? How do we value a business in the country? What are the best resources in entrepreneur and business in the Philippines? This article could help you to have more successful businesses in the country.
Philippines is a country located in the Southeast Asia in the western Pacific Ocean. It has a tropical maritime climate and is usually hot and humid which made Philippines famous for its tropical rain forests and rich oceans & seas, home to diverse range of plants, animals and sea creatures.
Having this rich and generous natural resources many Filipino businessmen are motivated to give and open a way to the locals not just for jobs but also to do business as well. But the best thing in general is to give jobs to unemployed people especially to people in rural regions that are exposed to urbanization. People in these rural areas typically live their lives on farming and fishing, if near the sea.
There are also some that do businesses like furniture making or making anything made of native raw materials (narra, coconut, bamboo, etc.) or export and sell these products to other countries and promote tourism and earn money to improve and establish a better place for a prosperous country.
This is what made Philippines so famous in the furniture industry, local, national and even in international world, for its furniture exhibits quality and unique beauty which entices more people to use our own furniture to decorate houses.
I even heard that some of the Hollywood celebrities fancy and buy furniture made by Filipinos which entices them and more customers and buyers really like to have the Filipino owned creations. And because of this, people in rural areas, especially women, can have a job and earn money to support their families.
Some also export these raw materials for many producers and some believe that these materials can be long lasting and gives off a natural feel on their furniture they are making. And also, if we talk about exports, it is not only raw materials that Philippines exports but some amazing products.
The country also exports semiconductors and electronic products, transport equipment, garments, copper products, petroleum products, coconut oil, and fruits.

Philippines is also rich in mineral and geothermal resources. Some people living in the mountains do mining as their livelihood. Philippine gold, nickel, copper and chromium deposits are among the largest in the world. Other important minerals include silver, coal, gypsum, and sulfur.
Significant deposits of clay, limestone, marble, silica, and phosphate exist. And because of this, other countries imports minerals from our country which is a very big help to the economy of our country and to our own people.
Filipinos learned from our past invaders especially to very first ones who came to our country, how to sell or trade products or what they called barter in the past. Filipinos learned how to managed and be successful on your business.
They learned many strategic and logical ways to gain customers and earn more during the past which is now applied at present.

In Philippines, there's what we call sari-sari store. It is somewhat the same with a grocery store but its too much smaller than a typical grocery.
Things that are usually needed in our daily lives (shampoos, bath & laundry soaps, food condiments, etc.) which is really patronize by the people for it is convenient and cheaper than going to faraway grocery stores.
This business is also an easy business to start for you can start this from a small capital anytime you want and this business, for me, has the probability of more than 50% of success if managed well.
