As far as many Filipinos know, their are different styles of music. These different styles of music will help us to appreciate more on music. This is also another way so that we can understand and be touched by the wonders of music. Sometimes when Filipinos listen to such music, they could cry , laugh, and imagination arise which will enhance our well-being. As typical Filipinos, we really love music and we can't deny it even if we can't really understand some styles we still love it because that particular music has its own style and passion.

Musical styles today are very creative and well organized because of the help of the technology lately. Here are some styles  during the 20th and 21st centuries. 

We have "vaudeville" which is one of the most popular form of mass entertainment and it was called the heart of American show business. "Broadway musical" is a popular music style appreciated by ordinary people. "Electronic music" is an electro-acoustic music that consists of tones originating in electronic sound. "Chance music" is called "aleatory music." "Minimalist music" main idea is a short musical compositions with a small amount of musical material which is being repeated over and over again.

As a person we have a personal aspects such as emotional, social, spiritual, physical, and mental. The musical styles contributes greatly to our aspects. First, in our emotional aspects, we easily get in touch with the music that we listen to. Next is the spiritual, this is rich music that is intended to God. We really hear this musics from the church, their music is quite different to the music of our generation. The music in our church gives a good values to our daily lives.

Social music regards to your behavior or your way to mingling with your friends. If you really love music then your friends too are music lover. It reflects to yourself and on what you are. Lastly, physical aspect, their are some music that would make your body move so this different kind of aspects in our life is greatly affects to the different styles of music.
