| Health Examination importance |
A regular health
examination is important because it is used to evaluate the health status,
screen for risk factors and diseases, and provide preventive counseling
interventions in an age-appropriate manner.
The goals of or rather
the goal of screening and evaluation is to prevent the onset of disease or the
worsening of an existing disease.
A further goal of the
periodic health examination is to educate patients about behavioral patterns or
environmental exposures that pose risk for future diseases.
It is the process
of determining or diagnosing a person’s health status and detecting the
presence of physical defects or impaired health.
